About Us
Cats in Crisis, a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization, was founded in the Fall of 2004 by Victoria Kline in memory of Mesa, her beloved cat who succumbed to renal failure in October 2003.
With a passion for veterinary medicine and animal welfare, Victoria created Cats in Crisis with the intent to extend financial grant assistance to individuals caring for special needs cats who need medical treatment.
Our mission is to reach as many cat caretakers as possible who are faced with the dilemma of how to afford veterinary treatment for their feline companions who have chronic medical conditions. We believe in a "Commitment for Life" and feel strongly that no cat with special medical needs should be euthanized simply because their caretakers have limited financial means.
